Why…
The Bön spiritual tradition suffered heavily during the cultural revolution. Presently, Bönpo centres in Tibet where monks can learn their original culture are very rare. In most cases monks’ activities are reduced to participating in simple ceremonies inside the monasteries and ritual practices in the Bön worshippers’ family homes.

What we want to do…
We strongly believe that the Bönpo study and practice Colleges represent an important opportunity to offer education to young people: here they deeply study the spiritual teachings (Sutra Tantra and Dzogchen) as well as history, philosophy, Tibetan grammar and writing, poetry and prose, art, traditional medicine, astrology and all the various aspects of the rich and ancient Tibetan culture. Therefore, we want give them this chance on the best possible conditions.

How much it costs…
25€ per month

What you offer them…
80 cents per day give them board, lodging, clothes, sacred books, heating and basic healthcare expenses.
