TIBETAN HIGH SCHOOL OF HAINAN
Qinghai Province, Tibetan region of Amdo.
This school provides a high school education to the Tibetans coming from the secondary schools of the province of Qinghai. It is considered as one of the best ones of the province for its teaching quality. It is composed of 12 classes for a total of 630 students in a three-year cycle of studies after which the students receive a diploma enabling them to teach.
The project in this school began in 2004 and at present there are 18 students enrolled in the Scholarship project.
The subjects taught are: Tibetan language, politics, mathematics, Chinese language, history, physics, chemistry and biology. The school has also a computer class and recently also a English language class.
