30 Apr WORDS OF VIRTUOUS CONTAGION: CHANGE
Words are important. They can feed fear and stress, or relieve that sense of anxiety and bewilderment that we are all experiencing right now, allowing us to change perspective and generate a virtuous contagion, starting from what we think and feel.
The seventh word we propose is change. Life is constantly changing, we all know it, but often, even unconsciously, we implement a series of resistance strategies to maintain our comfort zone and remain in the known.
Except that life, without asking ourselves if we are ready, puts us in front of the change, that change that we would never have expected, that we would never have imagined. As happened with the pandemic: who could have imagined that a virus would come to disrupt life on the planet!
And here is our virtuous contagion this week spreads through the word change: we take this opportunity to observe what is our attitude towards change, how much it costs us to change, especially when change is not desired but is dictated by circumstances, when it doesn’t meet our expectations. And we take up the challenge: we learn to flow with life that changes.
