EMERGENCY EARTHQUAKE IN QINGHAI

> Violent Earthquake in the Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture of Yushu


A violent earthquake struck, Wednesday, April 14th, the Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture of Yushu, 90% inhabited by Tibetans. Entire villages were destroyed.


ASIA immediately launched a fundraising campaign. The first convoy containing the basic necessities: tsampa (barley flour), butter,  sugar, the, blankets, soap, etc, left today Xining to reach Yushu Prefecture.
