LONG DISTANCE SPONSORSHIP >CHILDREN > Manasarovar Educational Foundation > CADEL EVANS ADOPTS TIBET
Thanks to you, we made it
| ||Dearest friends, |
We believed in the beauty of our dream and it did come true.
We are happy and proud to tell you that the school is safe.
WE MADE IT.
The achievement of this big aim spurs us to keep going with bravery and determination, sure of your support and participation.
The Manasarovar school can finally count on the property of the building and the future generations of little Tibetans in exile will be able to continue to study and maintain their cultural identity.
In such a difficult time, for us and for the Tibetan people, it is great news and a significant result that we achieved together, everybody according to their own possibilities and capacities.
"It is not an easy job to handle innocent children for the whole day but this is the best way to serve our culture and language. As a Buddhist, being a teacher is a blessing, conducting a school is such an honour. It is not that easy, which needs our compassion, time and capability. The more hardship we feel, the more our achievement will be. Many more children will join the school in the upcoming years. We have the strong desire to save the school that is many people's dream.
It is a kind of responsibility not a kind of business or making money. They are the future citizens of our nation"
Tsultrim Sangmo - Director of the school
Cadel Evans and his wife Chiara distance support a Tibetan child at the Manasarovar Educational Foundation in Kathmandu, a non-profit organization founded in 1999 by two women who wanted to give Tibetan child in Nepal the chance to receive an education based on the ancient traditions of their culture.
