Sponsoring a child, a monk, a student or an elder means to safeguard the Tibetan culture, language and education and to change your own life as well. 80 cents a day are enough.
HOW DOES IT WORK
You will receive a data sheet with information about the child, monk, elder or young student that you will sponsor as soon as you become a “long-distance parent”.
Furthermore, throughout the year you will receive:
• Two letters and a photograph of the person you are adopting;
• Our newsletter with news about our activities and updates from the projects in the field.
WHERE DO WE WORK
ASIA only works in schools where the Tibetan language is used in Tibet, Nepal and India. All our projects
WHY ADOPT WITH ASIA
80% of your contribution is sent to the beneficiaries to cover school fees, school accommodation, medical care costs (children); accommodation in monasteries and traditional colleges (Tibetan monks); accommodation in facilities for Tibetan elders; scholarship costs (young Tibetan students).
Besides building up an epistolary relationship with the beneficiary, you have the possibility of meeting them face-to-face.
