15 May ASIA and the Province of Trento support 600 families with essential supplies after the Myanmar earthquake
Following the recent earthquake that severely struck the Pyawbwe township in central Myanmar, ASIA has begun distributing emergency relief kits to around 600 families. This intervention was made possible thanks to the support of the Autonomous Province of Trento.
The kits contain essential items to help families cope with the emergency: blankets, tarpaulins, mosquito nets, water containers, rice, lentils, and oil. Simple but vital materials to offer protection, nourishment, and a starting point to reorganize after losing their homes and livelihoods.
In this time of great hardship for the affected communities, the intervention stands as a tangible sign of support and solidarity. Providing immediate relief means offering comfort to those who have lost everything and helping restore basic conditions of dignity and security.
